PURPOSE:To simply change the direction of conveyance by each of various conveyors, by providing a moving passage consisting of a forward and a backward portions parallel with each other, a transverse displacement passage connecting the forward and the backward portions to each other perpendicularly to the moving passage, and a truck which is moved in the moving passage and the transverse displacement passage. CONSTITUTION:A conveyance direction changer is composed of a truck 1, a moving passage 2 for the truck, and a transverse displacement passage 3 extending perpendicularly to the moving passage 2 at its end. The truck 1 is moved in the forward portion 22 of the moving passage 2 by the rotation of a front and a rear rollers 14, 15 while guides 21 are in contact with the guide portions of right and left frames 11, 12 of the truck. When the truck 1 is stranded from the tapered portions 33 of transverse displacement passage rollers 31 into the transverse displacement passage 3, a drive switch mechanism 32 is operated to rotate the rollers 31 to transversely displace the truck 1. When the truck 1 is brought into contact with the end of the transverse displacement passage 3, a reverse rotation mechanism bearer 35 and a reverse rotation mechanism 18 are actuated in conjunction with each other to reverse the rotation of the front and the rear rollers 14, 15 to move the truck 1 in the backward portion 23 of the moving passage 2. |
