PURPOSE:To realize the lamination of thin veneer plates with a high degree of accuracy with the use of such an arrangement that the center section of each thin veneer plates which are conveyed by a conveyor mechanism, are pressed to drop the thin veneer plates onto a stacking position for laminating the thin veneer plates, by providing a member which prevents each thin veneer plate from being curved caused by an abrupt drop. CONSTITUTION:In a veneer laminting device, a thin veneer plate 7 having been brought above a laminating bed 6 by a sticking conveyor A composed of a belt 2 which is provided on its peripheral surface with several needle-like sticking projections 3 is dropped by being pressed by a pressing member 9 moved up and down by an operating mechanism 8 such as, for example, a cylinder, to be laminated on the laminating bed. In this case, there is provided a stick-like member 11 for preventing the veneer plate from being curved, in a position above the laminating bed, near to the center by a suitable distance from one end of the vener plate 7, where the member 11 does not impede the transfer of the veneer plate 7. With this arrangement an air drag caused by an abrupt drop of the veneer plate may prevent the veneer plate 7 from being curved in excess of a predetermined limit value, thereby it is possible to realize a lamination with a high degree of accuracy. |
