PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a belt-like wrapper, etc. to prevent a plate-like plate from being incorrectly coiled, by providing plenum chambers in the outer peripheral section of a wind-up reel so that the belt-like plate is wound up by use of an absorbing force based upon a pressure drop between he vacuum pressure in each plenum chamber and the ambient air. CONSTITUTION:Annular plenum chambers 50 are provided, respectively on annular segments 201 which are slidably in the axial direction fitted onto a reel shaft 200, so that the plenum chambers 50 may slide together with the segments 201 in one unit body. Further, each plenum chambers 50 has its outer wall 51 supported to a reel segment 53 provided on the inner diameter side, through the intermediary of a reinforcing spacer 52 with a vacuum chamber 55 being defined between both members 51, 53, and the outer wall 51 is formed therein with an absorbing hole 54 which is communicated with the vacuum chamber 55. With this arrangement, air is sucked out from the vacuum chamber 55 while the ambient air is led into the vacuum chamber 55 through the absorbing hole 54 so that the leading end of a belt-like plate O is absorbed onto the surface of the outer wall 51. Accordingly, when a wind-up reel 20 is rotated, leaving the belt-like plate O absorbed to the outer wall 51, the belt-like plate O may be wound up in a coil-like shape. |
