PURPOSE:To produce necessary amt. of produced water having a specified salt concentration securely by controlling the feed pressure of raw water basing on sensed values of raw water temp., feed pressure of the raw water, electric conductivity of the raw water and the produced water, the amt. of the produced water, the amt. of the concentrated brine, and the percentage of consolidation, and executing washing of the membrane. CONSTITUTION:Electric conductivity of raw water and produced water, raw water, temp., feed pressure of the raw water, flow rate of the concentrated brine, and the flow rate of the produced water are sensed with electric conductivity meters 8, 14, a water temp. indicator 9, pressure gauge 11, and flow meters 12, 13, in a reverse osmotic membrane apparatus 4 and the feed pressure of the raw water, number of revolution or degree of opening of the valve of a high pressure pump 9 necessary for attaining a predetermined rate of recovery, desalting degree, and the amt. of the produced water are operated with an operator 15. Basing on the results of operation, the number of revolution or the degree of opening of the valve of the high pressure pump 9 is controlled by a controller 17, and thus the reverse osmotic membrane washing device 16 is controlled at the same time. By this constitution, necessary amt. of produced water having a predetermined water quality is secured with a predetermined rate of recovery even if variation of raw water temp. or salt concn., or contamination or consolidation of the membrane is caused.
