Device for holding linen or any other object generally placed on a line which is stretched out for this purpose. The invention relates to a device for hanging linen or photographic films or for more or less provisionally holding objects to each other or in hanging positions. It consists of two identical opposing pieces held in place transversely by the ribs 1 and 2 and held apart by the arch end 9. Having no spring, the spring being replaced by an arch 6 whose play is limited by abutment against the rib 1, this peg may advantageously be made by plastic injection. The device of the invention is particularly intended for provisional or brief hanging or holding purposes. <IMAGE>
