PURPOSE:To measure a wide radioactivity density and its quantity with good measuring accuracy by connecting an end part sampler of a shape for blocking up a spiral opening part, to one end of a spiral sampler, and also using a collimator whose opening part is not shaped like a slit. CONSTITUTION:An end part sampler 21 orthogonal to the center axis of a spiral and having a form for blocking the spiral opening part is connected to one end of a spiral sampler 1 made by winding a pipe spirally. Also, a radioactivity detector 3 is provided so that it can be taken in and out from the opening of the opposite side of the end pare sampler 21 to the inside of the sampler 1, and also a distance to the sampler can be set variably. Morever, a collimator 22 whose opening part is not shaped like a slit, such as a rectangle or a circle is placed between the sampler 1 and the radioactivity detector 3. In this way, all features of the spiral sampler are utilized, and the measuring accuracy can be improved over a wide measuring range. |
