For a screwless connecting or joining terminal for electrical conductors, it is provided for a clamping element in the form of a pin to be pressed into an operating opening in the form of a duct, the clamping element being held in a self-locking manner and the clamping spring of the terminal being pressed into its open conductor connection position until the clamping element is removed. In this case, the clamping element is provided with a handling section and can be removed, and possibly reinserted, by hand (without any special tool).
