PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a ball escape passage and to simplify the structure by holding balls interposed between a female and a male helicoid spring by a retainer, and preventing the balls from falling by a stopper. CONSTITUTION:The female and male helicoids 1 and 3 which have ball screw grooves 2 and 4 are combined across the balls 5, which arranged on the helicoid peripheries and held by the retainer 6, and the stopper 7 is provided to prevent the balls from falling. When the male helicoid 3 is rotated as shown by an arrow, the rotation of the balls 5 and retainer 6 may be a half as large as that of the male helicoid. Therefore, the need for the ball escape passage is eliminated since the balls 5 are prevented by the stopper 7 from falling, and the occupation capacity is small and the structure is simplified. |
