PURPOSE:To exclude disturbance of communication due to dissidence of attributes regardless of the process of connection by designating the attribute of a data terminal equipment at line connection from a data exchange controller. CONSTITUTION:When a call request is given from a data terminal equipment 1 to a data terminal equipment 2, a data exchange controller 7 recognizing it via a line supervisory controller 4 receives a selection signal and connects it a signal transmission/reception equipment 8 through a channel path 11. The data exchange controller 7 transmits an opposite party confirming signal added with an attribute signal to the data terminal equipments 1, 2 via the signal transmission/ reception equipment 8. When the data terminal equipment 2 responds to it, a channel path 13 is connected, the channel paths 11, 12 are disconnected to attain the communication between the data terminal equipments 1 and 2. |
