PURPOSE:To permit the optimum operation of a wheel brake even in the trouble of a liquid pressure source by installing safety valves in an oil passage formed so as to detour a valve machanism built into a pressure reducing means and between the above-described valve mechanism and the wheel brake. CONSTITUTION:A valve box 4 equipped with a safety means 6 and a pressure reducing means 5 which is controlled by an antilock control means 7 a hydraulic control means 8 is installed between an oil passage 2 connected to a master cylinder M and an oil passage 3 connected to a wheel brake B. The pressure reducing means 5 is equipped with a valve mechanism 23 installed between a pressure reducing chamber 20 and an input oil pressure chamber 22 which are formed in partition by a pressure reducing piston 18. The safety means 6 is equipped with the first and the second safety valves 43 and 44 which are installed between the first and the second oil passages 37 and 38 which communicate to the above- described chambers 22 and 20. The oil pressure chamber 41 of the safety valve 6 is connected to a liquid pressure source 11 through a hydraulic control means 8. |
