PURPOSE:To attain input of character strings with no mistake by using a means which detects the continuous consonants out of a character string shown in Roman characters and a means which outputs small KANA (Japanese syllabary) ''UN'' in case the detected continuous consonants start with ''UN''. CONSTITUTION:When a Roman character input mode is selected by a mode changeover switch on a keyboard KB, a CPU decides first whether a key code is equal to the alphabet used for expression of Roman characters and a symbol. If a code prescribed by a rule is discriminated, it is discriminated whether said code is equal to a consonant or not. Then a consonant is discriminated is stored to the address of a RAM. In such a case, it is discriminated whether or not the data stored in said address is equal to ''n + consonant'' as long as the contents of an index register INR within the RAM are equal to 2. If the result YES is obtained, a small KANA ''UN'' is outputted. In scuh a way, the input of character strings is made possible with no mistake by outputting said ''UN'' in case the detected continuous consonants start with ''UN''. |
