<p>PURPOSE:To protect the wall of the furnace against slagging and the like and perform a high load combustion of fine powder coal by a method wherein each of the burners is arranged at a position displaced to the corner part from a center line which is parallel with a center of the furnace and a combustion discharging gas injection nozzle is arranged at a position displaced toward the corner part from each of the burners. CONSTITUTION:Each of the burners 2 arranged at each of the surfaces of a vertical combustion furnace 1 is arranged at a position displaced to the corner part from a center line of the furnace wall which is parallel with a center of the furnace 3. A combustion discharging gas injection nozzle 4 arranged at a position displaced to the corner part from each of the burners 2 may perform an action to blow the combustion discharging gas 5 in such a way as it may move along the furnace wall. Under such arrangements as described above, when fine powder coal is ignited with each of the burners 2, a circulating movement along the furnace wall of the combustion gas is generated within the furnace. Thus, in case of a high volume of combustion, the combustion discharging gas 5 from each of the combustion discharging gas injecting nozzles 4 is injected so as to move along the furnace wall. Thus, the hot temperature gas is moved away from the furnace wall, resulting in that the slagging can be prevented.</p> |
