PURPOSE:To prevent a propeller shaft from interfering with a circular road surface, by setting up a joint at the central part at a more upper part than a straight line connecting joints at both side parts among all joints coupling each shaft constituting the propeller shaft. CONSTITUTION:A propeller shaft 20 is constituted of each of first to third shafts 21, 41 and 51 counting from the side of an negine output shaft 3. And, each of first and second joints 25 and 31 is installed in solid parts 22 and 24 at both ends of the first shaft 21. In addition, each of third and fourth joints 55 and 61 is installed in a solid part 52 and a hollow part 53 of the thid shaft 51. In this case, a rear part of the first shaft 21 is made to be higher than the front part, while a front part of the third shaft 51 is also made to be higher than the rear part, and each is attached to a car body via setting devices 71 and 75. With this constitution, each center of these second and third joints 31 and 55 is set up at a more upper part than a straight line L connecting each of first and fourth joints 25 and 61. |
