PURPOSE:To enable measurement of high frequency pulse having different frequency by providing a circuit for selecting the gate output signal of frequency meter in a magnetron power source having an anode pulse electrode, a trigger pulse generator and a frequency meter. CONSTITUTION:Upon application of anode pulse voltage 2 produced from an anode pulse power source 1, a magnetron 3 will oscillate high frequency pulse wave to produce a referential signal 5 corresponding with the frequency. A trigger pulse generator 6 will produce plural trigger pulses 7 in single period of referential signal 5. Furthermore, the trigger pulse generator 6 will produce a signal 8 synchronous with the referential signal 5 and a trigger signal 9 synchronous with the trigger pulse 7. A frequency meter 10 will measure the frequency of high frequency pulse 4 produced from the magnetron 3 thus to produce a gate output signal 11 corresponding with the high frequency pulse input. A gate selection circuit 13 will select random one of a series of gate output signals produced from the frequency meter 10 and apply onto the gate control input terminal 12 of frequency meter 10 while provided with a synchronous signal 8 and a trigger signal 9 from the trigger pulse generator 6.
