PURPOSE:To prevent the influence onto an operation due to a cutting trouble by detecting a sound pressure of a specific audio frequency zone generated at the time of cutting and by detecting the unusual cutting based on this detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:When a normal cutting is performed in gas cutting a high pressure oxygen is passed through under a billet 1 and a specific sound is generated at this moment. On the other hand the sound pressure of a high frequency sound is lowered when the passing of a gas is stagnated due to the burning of a gas torch, etc. Now the sound pressure level is taken out to a band-pass filter 8 from the noise generated at the cutting and the cutting condition is detected from the loudness of sound. In case of abnormal cutting an alarm unit 9 is acted to inform to an operator. |
