PURPOSE:To obtain a dye transfer body which provides a quality image free from omission of dye or the like in the halftone with a sufficient color density by providing a coloring material layer containing a specified sublimating dye and non-sublimating particles on a substrate while a part of non-sublimating particles are made to jut out from the surface of the coloring material layer. CONSTITUTION:Non-sublimating particles 3 such as metal, metal oxide, inorganic salt, organic pigment and which are mixed in an ink comprising at least one kind of sublimating dyes as given by the formulas I, II and III (wherein, X represents hydrogen or a methyl group and R and R' each represent a 1-4C alkyl group), a resin such as polycarbonate and polysulfone and a solvent is applied on a base body 1 made of heat resistant high polymer film. The non-sublimating particles 3 herein used shall be 0.1-100mum in the particle size and are made to jut out of the reference surface of a layer 2 comprising a sublimating dye and a binder so that other particles 3 cover at any point in a range 2a encircled with the radius r=200mum from the circumference of desired particles 3 on the reference surface. The height of the jut is preferably 0.1-100mum. |
