The invention relates to a ground-cleaning device installed on a mobile machine which is capable of moving on a pavement. This device comprises in combination a suction bell-shaped casing 1 which may move between two positions, an operational one where it is in contact with the ground and a rest one where it is raised off the ground, the said bell-shaped casing containing at least one spraying nozzle 4 connected to a source of pressurized cleaning agent, and a suction conduit 2 connected to a vacuum vessel which is itself linked to a tank for storing the waste water. The invention may be applied particularly to the removal of dog faeces. <IMAGE>
