PURPOSE:The ultraviolet rays irradiator which is so arranged that the materials to be irradiated may be conveyed with their rotating peripheral surfaces being faced to the irradiation source while being rotated and which is capable of enhancing ultraviolet rays irradiation efficiency and is simple in construction. CONSTITUTION:A pair of conveyors 32 which are respectively provided with plural supporting pieces 31 are disposed movably in the lengthwise direction of the ultraviolet rays irradiation source and the electronic small articles 24 being the materials to be irradiated are placed horizontally rotatably to the supporting pieces 31 by means of the lead wires 33 protruding to both sides thereof. A pair of tracks 34 which make contact to these lead wires 33 in a supporting state and give rotation to the materials 24 to be irradiated through moving of the conveyors 32 and the guide plates 35 which prevent the materials 24 to be irradiated under rotation from displacing in the rotating axis direction are disposed. As the irradiation light source, the one of bar-form lamp type which abundantly radiates rays having main wavelengths in the range of 185-500mmu, suffices, for which a mercury arc lamp, xenon lamp or the like may be used. |
