PURPOSE:To improve analyzing accuracy by molding integrally and constituting an analyzing element of a volumetric filter layer consisting of a fibrous blank material having a prescribed size and a development layer consisting of a non- fibrous porous medium having the liquid holding power larger than the liquid holding power of the volumetric filter layer. CONSTITUTION:The volumetric filter layer is constituted of, for example, glass fibers having 0.1-1.0mum size, 10-4,000mum length and 0.02-0.1g/cm<3> density to 100-2,000mum thickness so as to have about >=85% voids. The development layer is then constituted of the non-fibrous porous medium, for example, brush polymer. The volumetric filter layer and the development layer are integrally molded in the state in which the glass fibers are thrusted to the inside walls of the pores in the development layer at the boundary between the two layers, i.e., in the state of a three-dimensional anchoring structure, thereby forming the analyzing element. The exact and quick analysis is thus made possible without generation of clogging by using such analyzing element. |
