CONTROLLING METHOD OF POWER INVERTER

PURPOSE:To suppress harmonic waves and to prevent a vibration or a noise from generating by setting the nonconductive zone when one phase output of a bridge is switched from a positive energization to negative energization or from the negative energization to positive energization to the prescribed electric angle. CONSTITUTION:A 3-phase DC brushless motor 1 has stator windings 2-4 and a position detector 5 for detecting the rotating position of a rotor. A data generator 14 sequentially switch an output from ''1'' to ''12'' at every 30 deg. of electric angle on the basis of the output of the detector 5, and a controller 15 controls ON or OFF of transistors 6-11. Here, the nonconductive zone when the output waveform obtained from a 3-phase bridge which is formed of the transistors 6- 11 is switched from positive energization to negative energization or from the negative energization to the positive energization is set to approx. 30 deg. of an electric angle.
