<p>PURPOSE:To remove residue of a molding compound adhered to the tip of a nipple by a method in which a movable nipple whose tip goes in or out of the tip of the nipple of an extruder head for forming a high polymer molding compound by extrusion is provided to the inside of the nipple of the extruder head. CONSTITUTION:A movable nipple 21 is provided inside of the nipple 5 of the extruder head, and the tip of the movable nipple 21 is rotatably supported on the tip of the nipple 5. The rear end of the nipple 21 is rotatably supported on the bearing 23 attached to the tip inside of the nipple holder 7. The plane containing the tip of the nipple 21 is inclined to the axis and crossed with the plane containing the tip of the nipple 5. When forming a high polymer molding compound from between the die 3 and the nipple 5 by extrusion, the nipple 21 is turned through a claw clutch 27 to remove the high polymer residue adhered to the tip of the nipple 5. The molding compound residue adhered to the tip of the nipple of the extruder head can thus be easily removed out.</p> |
