PURPOSE:To enable free insertion and removal of an endoscope into and out of an engine without catching of a hook for fixing the endoscope and inspection of the inside of the engine, etc. by forming a slope to the end of a guide tube and providing a curved part to the rear of the slope. CONSTITUTION:The endoscope 1 of which the hook 10 is inserted into a channel 8 is inserted into a guide tube 11 and is put into a gas turbine engine. The endoscope is conducted toward the direction of an intended turbine blade by the tube 11. The top end of the hook 10 projecting from the endoscope 1 is hooked to the turbine blade to fix the endoscope 1 in a way as to avoid the oscillation thereof. A crack, etc. are inspected by using the observation optical system 6 in the endoscope 1. The operations consisting of removing the hook 10 from the blade and pulling the endoscope 1 together with the hook 10 while maintaining the length on the top end side of the hook 10 projecting from the top end of the endoscope 1 at about the length in the curved part 12 of the tube 11 are performed after the inspection. The endoscope 1 is pulled while the top end of the hook 10 is slid along the slope 13 at the top end of the tube 11. |
