<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a speed controller by utilizing a vehicle transformer coil of a charger mounted on vehicle as a commutation reactor of the controller. CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch is closed, A magnet switch 9 becomes ON to apply a current from an AC power source 8 through a vehicle transformer coil 19 and a full-wave rectifier 12 to a battery 1. Since the current is also supplied to an electromagnetic coil 7a at this time, the normal-closure contacts b1, b2 of a traveling charge switching contactor 7 are opened. Since a electromagnetic coil 7a is not excited in a normal traveling state, the contacts b1, b2 become ON state. Thus, a commutation charging common coil 17 is connected as a commutation reactor with terminals 6a, 6b externally attached to a travel controller 6. Thus, an exclusive commutation reactor can be eliminated.</p> |
