PURPOSE:To enable a tractor and the like to safely change direction, by a method wherein a trench is dug in a poorly drained paddy field, a soil coagulant is mixed in a part of soil to backfill the mixture, an artificial ploughsole is formed in a laminar manner by exerting impack, and caltivated soil is placed thereon to cover the ploughsole therewith. CONSTITUTION:A trench 1 with a specified width and depth is dug in a poorly drained paddy field, and a soil coagulant and a proper amount of water are mixed in a part of excabated soil to backfill it in the bottom part of the trench 1. By exerting impact, an artificial ploughsole 2 is formed in a laminar manner, and caltivated soil 3 is placed thereon to cover the ploughsole 2 therewith. Drainage holes 4, serving to improve drainage properties and permeability, are formed in the artificial ploughsole 2 such that, before the ploughsole 2 is solidified, the drainage holes 4 are formed by means of projections 6 on the pressurizing surface of a press plate 5. This enables the artificial ploughsole to be easily formed in a place, such as poorly drained paddy fields, which is susceptible to become muddy, and permits elimination of a conventional work of improving the ploughsole. |
