PURPOSE:To decrease the number of components and reduce the manhour of assembly by performing a metallic plating treatment from the current collecting member fitting part of an outer packing cover to a function component fitting part which is grounded. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing brush 2 fitted with a small screw 3 to the top side of the front surface of the paper discharge port 7 of a paper discharge cover 1 made of synthetic resin is slid and rubbed against an image support material which is discharge from the paper discharge port 7. The range 8 from the root of the small screw 3 penetrating the paper discharge cover 1 to the reverse surface to the part 9 where a shaft 5 is supported on the cover 1 is plated with metal. When the image support material contacts the destaticizing brush 2, its electrostatic charge is destaticized to an earth point through the small screw 3, metallic plating layer, and roll shaft 5. Therefore, the need for a conductive leaf spring which is slid and rubbed against the shaft 5 and connected to the reverse surface of the cover 1 is eliminated, and the number of components and the manhour of assembly are reduced. |
