PURPOSE:To aim rationalization of preparation process, to improve extremely productivity, and to obtain the titled polymer easily by continuous polymerization, by polymerizing crumb consisting of polymer latex and a radically polymerizable monomer in a crumb state. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) polymer latex (preferably diene polymer latex) and (B) a radically polymerizable monomer (preferably in a weight ratio of the component A:B=10:90-95:5) is coagulated (preferably coagulant is used), and polymerized in a crumb state (preferably radical polymerization initiator is used), to give the desired polymer. One or more monomers selected from aromatic vinyl, unsaturated nitrile, and unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester are preferable as the component B.
