PURPOSE:To display addresses whose contents are dissident with each other so as to observe them easily by preparing comparing commands having a parameter and no parameter and changing the specification of comparing areas in accordance with the presence of the parameter. CONSTITUTION:Comparing commands having a parameter and no parameter are prepared. While monitoring a keyboard or the like, a CPU waits for the input of a command, and at the input of a comparing command, decides the presence of a parameter, i.e. a comparing area. At the input of the comparing command with a parameter, the contents of a memory are successively compared in a direction from a specified start address to an end address and the initial dissident address is displayed. When the comparing command having no parameter is inputted, the contents of the memory are compared from the address next to the displayed dissident address to the end address in the parameter or the succeeding dissident address of said displayed address is displayed. |
