摘要

PURPOSE:To form a sharp toner image high in density without causing carrier striation and an edge effect on the image by incorporating a ferrite carrier as a magnetic carrier. CONSTITUTION:The sharp toner image high in density can be formed by reducing sintered ferrite particles with hydrogen to produce the ferrite carrier having a kinetic electric resistivity of 6X10<4>-7.2X10<5>OMEGA-cm, and using a combination of this carrier and dielectric toner particles having intrinsic volume resistivity of 1X10<13>OMEGA-cm for development of an electrostatic charge image formed on an amorphous silicon photoconductor.
