PURPOSE:To make the best of the titled set for a backward supervisory monitor when an automobile goes backward and an on-vehicle television set to display a conventional TV picture by providing a mode selection changeover switch and providing only one television monitor. CONSTITUTION:In selecting the mode selection changeover switch S4 to the position of the automatic backward supervisory mode (a), the mode is switched automatically to the backward supervisory mode by a back signal independently whether a television monitor U6 displays a TV picture from a video equipment 9 or not. In selecting the mode selection changeover switch S4 to the position of the manual backward supervisory mode (b), the said backward supervisory set in common use for television set is switched forcibly to the backward supervision. In selecting the mode selection changeover switch S4 to the position of the backward visual field release mode (c), an input signal changeover switch S5 is changed over to the position of a video equipment 9, a backward supervisory drive signal is not outputted from a back signal control circuit U1 and a TV picture from the video equipment 9 is displayed on the television monitor U6 as a normal picture.
