PURPOSE:To attain ease of replacement of a lens assembly by designing the titled reader that a projection is engaged when the lens assembly is inserted to a slide slot and the lens assembly is locked to the reader main body. CONSTITUTION:In fitting the lens assembly 24 to a lens assembly fitting section 21, a projected part 34 of a lens holder 25 of the lens assembly 24 is inserted to the slide slot 22 and the tip of the projected part 34 is pressed until it is brought into contact with a lock part 22a of the slide slot 22. A latch 30 is pushed to this side by a force of a compression spring 31 and the projection 23 and the latch 30 are engaged at a taper. Thus, the lens assembly 24 is locked to the lens assembly fitting part 21 through the pressing force of the compression spring 31 without causing any play.
