A temperature-control device with liquid heat-transfer medium, in particular for plastics processing machines. The invention relates to a temperature-control device with liquid heat-transfer medium, which is used in particular for the temperature-control of plastics processing equipment. The aim and object of the invention are to provide a temperature-control device with low space requirement and high operating reliability, which maintains a constant preset temperature of the heat transfer medium under all operating states occurring, without increased equipment outlay. The solution provides for the cooler in a temperature-control device consisting essentially of tank, submerged pump, heater and cooler, as well as appropriate pipelines, to be installed in an enclosed housing provided with a circulation pipe and for said housing to be arranged in the tank. The open end of the circulation pipe is located at the top in the cooler housing and the lower end provided with bores projects out of the housing into the tank. The cooler housing is connected to the pressure connector of the pump and is acted on by heat-transfer liquid which partly flows back to the consumer and partly flows, via the circulation pipe, back into the tank. |
