PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of a cold holding agent and as well to provide a cheap container, by providing such an arrangement that granular material moves through a support when the filled height of the granular material in the container is lowered, and the support is lifted up due to the reduction of the weight of granular material while the replenishment of granular material is initiated when a limit switch is actuated. CONSTITUTION:A support 15 for granular material composed of a porous plate 2 is suspended from a container 7 by means of springs 5 disposed in guides 4, and a limit switch 6 is arranged on its lower section. Along with the elapse of time after filling of granular material, the granular material 8 within the container 7 moves down, and therefore the weight of granular material on the support 15 decreases. Accordingly, the support 15 is lifted up by means of the springs 5 to actuate the limit switch 6. With this arrangement a blower 13 is rotated to replenish granular material 8 from an auxiliary tank 12 into the container 7 through a pipe line 11. Thereby, an extra space in the container 7 which should be prepared in consideration with the reduction of filled height of the granular material 8 may be made minimum so that the charged amount of cold holding agent and as well the construction cost of the container may be reduced. |
