PURPOSE:To reduce the size and to enhance the efficiency of a brushless motor by setting special relations between the number of poles and the number of salient poles and further the number of salient poles of the same phase winding wound on the adjacent salient poles. CONSTITUTION:A rotor yoke 1 is secured to a shaft 5, and supported through a bearing 6 to a housing 4. A rotor magnet 2 magnetized at 22 poles is mounted on the yoke 1, and a stator core 3 having 20 salient poles is disposed oppositely to the yoke. The core 3 is mounted with a circuit board 7 which places a pole detector 8 and a motor drive circuit, and secured to the housing 4. In this case, windings A-phase and B-phase of two phases are wound on the core 3, the windings of the same phase are wound on adjacent 5 salient poles as one group, and the windings of the same phases are wound at the symmetrical position of 180 deg.. Thus, the rise of the waveform near zero cross is improved for the waveform per one salient pole. |
