PURPOSE:To obtain a copy image with good quality by holding a shutter open by a driving means before the start of exposure, releasing the shutter from being held at the start of the exposure and opening the shutter, and holding the shutter closed by a mechanical means at the end of the exposure. CONSTITUTION:The shutter 24 is held closed by the driving means such as a solenoid 26 which is electrically controllable before the start of the exposure, and released from being held by the solenoid at the start of the exposure. Then, the shutter 24 is opened with the energizing force of a spring 27 and held closed at the end of the exposure by the mechanical means which consists of a woodruff gear 28, small gear 30, one-way clutch 31, etc.
