PURPOSE:To obtain a floppy disk drive device whose thickness is thin by forming as one body a substrate of a stator armature of a disk type brushless motor for rotating a diskette and a substrate of a stator armature of a movable magnet type linear DC motor, and using them in common. CONSTITUTION:A stator armature 8 is constituted by sticking and providing six air-core type sector frame-shaped armature coils 7 at an equal interval on the upper face of a printed board 5 so that they are not superposed on each other on the plane. On the upper face of the stator armature 8, an iron substrate 9 whose both surfaces have been brought to insulation processing by an insulating layer, and also, on which a distribution conductive pattern has been formed is provided. The iron substrate 9 functions as a stator yoke of a disk type brushless motor 2 and a DC linear brushless motor 3, and also functions as an electric distributing board for supplying a desired current to an armature coil 20 of a stator armature 21 of the movable magnet type DC linear brushless motor 3, and an armature coil 7-1,...7-6 group of a stator armature 8 of the disk type brushless motor 2.
