摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the astableness of a laser output and the deterioration in quenching ratio by making laser light to be modulated on a deflecting medium at a Bragg angle and slanting the incident light laser light and the incidence surface of the deflecting medium in the ultrasonic wave surface of a piezoelectric converter. CONSTITUTION:A polarizing medium 12 made of molybdenum zinc fitted to a housing 1 made of an aluminum material is a parallelogram prism having its incidence surface 21 and projection surface 22 slanted to the fitting surface of the housing 1 by an angle theta1=22 deg.. Therefore, the incidence surface 21 is not perpendicular to the incident laser light 4, so reflected light 14 does not return to the same optical path with the incident light 4 and is 7mm. away from the incident light 4 at the position which is 100mm. away from the incidence surface 21. Further, the reflected light is prevented from being reflected again by the projection window of a laser tube to enter the medium 12 again.
