2-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-4-(3H)-quinazolinones of the formula in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different and denote hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyl or amino and R5 represents hydrogen or a cation, are active compounds in microbicidal agents.
