PURPOSE:To share efficiently resources by providing an occupying central processing unit number column in a resource management table and providing a processing unit operation information table and releasing resources which broken-down processing units occupy. CONSTITUTION:Operation information of individual processing units 1-1-1-n are held in individual rows of a processing unit operation information table 6 of a main storage device 4. If the processing unit 101 occupies a resource 8-i and is broken-down during execution of the processing, contents corresponding to this broken-down processing unit 1-1 in the processing unit operation information table 6 are rewritten. An interrupt signal is transmitted from the broken-down processing unit 1-1 to another processing unit. Then, one processing unit which can be operated normally is selected. This selected and started processing unit retrieves contents of the processing unit operation information table 6 to find the number of the broken-down processing unit. Next, a resource management table 5 is retrieved to rewrite occupation indicating information. |
