摘要

PURPOSE:To improve plasticity without spoiling a photoconductive characteristic by incorporating triphenyl hydride into a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The triphenyl hydride used as a plasticizer is the compd. expressed by the formula and the compd. of which the ring in the para position is substd. is usually used. The compd. of which the ring in the ortho position or meta position is substituted is also usable. The amt. of the tirphenyl hydride to be added is preferably in a 5-100pts.wt. range, more preferably 10-50pts.wt. range by 100pts.wt. poly-N-vinyl carbazole or the deriv. thereof in the case of using the triphenyl hydride alone as the plasticizer. A satisfactory effect is not expected if the amt. of the triphenyl hydride to be added is below 5pts.wt. and the decrease in sensitivity owing to dilution is of problem when said amt. exceeds 100pts.wt.
