PURPOSE:To provide a curable coating compsn. which can be thick-coated by one coating, is quickly curable and does not form any bubbles, consisting of a polyurethane resin composed of a polyisocyanate compd. and a polyol resin in a specified ratio and a peroxide. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. consists of 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) polyurethane resin (a) composed of a polyisocyanate compd. and a polyol resin having a hydroxyl value of 50-500 in a ratio of the number of isocyanate groups to the number of hydroxyl groups (NCO/OH ratio) of 0.3-1.5, 0.01-10pts.wt. peroxide (h) and optionally 1-30pts.wt. moisture adsorbent (c). Pref. the compsn. contains less than 50wt% epoxy-modified polyol resin having an MW of 800-30,000. Examples of the adsorbents are natural zeolite, synthetic zeolite and methyl orthoformate.
