The negative and protective lead system is fitted on two holders (1,2) with the holders being of electrical insulating material, and screwed on to the lower part of the fuse box or panel. The system includes upper and lower, through, electrically conductive rails (C), both being connected electrically to each other by a terminal (3). A number of connecting terminals (A,B,D) are arranged in different groups on the rails, partly between the holders, and partly on the ends of the rails projecting past the holders. The terminals incorporate screws for fixture of electrical leads to be connected to the negative and protective lead system. - The screws in the third group of terminals (D) are located between an outer connecting terminal (A) and one of the holders (1 or 2), and do not come into contact with the rail (C) running through the terminals of all the groups. Pref. there is a gap of at least 0.1 mm between the screw end the rail surface in the intermediary terminals or the third group. These latter terminals are fixed to the rail. |
