PURPOSE:To obtain an index useful for diagnosis of a pancrea disease by using an anti-human lactoferrin antibody sensitized latex obtd. by conjugating anti- human lactoferrin antibody with the surface of latex particles. CONSTITUTION:The anti-human lactoferrin (Lf) antibody is obtd. with an animal such as guinea pig processing antibody production ability by using human colostrum and is refined. The high polymer latex particles such as polystyrene latex having about 0.1-1.0mu grain size and the anti-human Lf antibody are gradually brought into contact with each other under stirring in various buffer solns. such as physiological salt soln. to sensitize the latex and thereafter the antibody failing to be adsorbed on the latex particles is removed by washing the particles with the buffer soln. The diluted pancreatic juice and the anti-human Lf antibody sensitized latex are mixed on a V-shaped microplate and the latex agglutinated image is obtd. after resting for specified time. The examination of the puncrea disease is thus elucidated.
