PURPOSE:To improve the luminance and the S/N of color by 6 dB or over without causing the reduction of the resolution of a reproduced picture by feeding back a signal reducing a non-correlation component already in detecting the non- correlation component of adjacent horizontal scanning line signals and taking the difference with the feedback signal. CONSTITUTION:A video signal (a) fed to an input terminal A is fed to one input terminal + of subtraction circuits 2, 5, an output signal (l) of the subtraction circuit 5 is led to an output terminal B, fed to a 1H delay circuit 6, where it is delayed and after the level is adjusted by an amplifier circuit 7, the result is fed to other input terminal - of the subtraction circuit 2. The subtraction circuit 2 outputs a difference component (i) of both supply signals, the component is fed to a limiter 3, from which a noise component (j) is extracted. After the noise component (j) is adjusted for the level by a 1/k attenuator 8 of the next stage, the result is fed to the other input terminal - of the subtraction circuit 5, subtracted with the video signal (a) and an output signal (l) with less noise is obtained.
