<p>A pharmaceutical composition containing an effective amount of an enzyme preparation which is capable of promoting decomposition of food containing meat and/or adipose tissue and is produced from aquatic animals selected from the group consisting of animals of the order Euphausiaceae and animals of the genus Mallotus, said composition being useful as a digestion promotor in gastrointestinal fluids. The invention comprises also a method for promoting degradation of food in gastrointestinal fluids by means of adding or administering said pharmaceutical composition.</p> |
