PURPOSE:To stably rotate an induction motor at a constant speed without varying the rotating speed or the terminal voltage due to a variation in a load by inserting a negative pulse to an inverter control signal so that the terminal voltage becomes a set value. CONSTITUTION:A controller 5 compares the output of a speed detector 6 with a set value and varies the period of a control signal for driving the phases of polyphase inverters 8 so that the output of the detector 6 becomes the set value. A negative pulse is inserted to phase control signals so that the terminal voltage of an induction motor 2 becomes the prescribed value. The width of the negative pulse is varied to equivalently vary the output voltage of the inverter 8. |
