PURPOSE:To eliminate the effects of reflected sounds by adding a left channel signal to a right channel signal after controlling the level and the phase of the left channel signal and also adding the roght channel signal to the left channel signal after controlling the level and the phase of the right channel signal respectively. CONSTITUTION:The left and right channel signals SL and SR are added with superposition to right and left channel signals SR and SL respectively by adders 18 and 17 via delay devices 11 and 12, level controllers 13 and 14 and inverters 15 and 16. The outputs of adders 17 and 18 are used as left and right channel speaker impression signals SLO and SRO respectively. The reflected sounds of both channels cross each other and reach right and left ears. Thus the effects of reflected sounds can be reduced. |
