PURPOSE:To accurately, safely and easily perform the leak test of piping and to make it possible to also perform the friction loss test and cleaning of said piping, by providing an opening and closing mechanism and a pressure measuring instrument to both upstream and downstream ends of the connected water feed piping system arranged in a building. CONSTITUTION:A check valve 6 and a test valve 8 are opened while a second valve 22 is closed and a vehicular pump 26 is driven to perform the feeding of water under pressure. When water pressure in piping 4 reaches predetermined test water pressure, a first valve 16 is closed and the water-tightness state of the piping 4 is detected by reading graduations of first and second pressure measuring instruments 12, 20 to perform a leak test. After the leak test, first and second valves 16, 22 are opened and the feeding of water under pressure by the pump wheel 6 is started and water pressure values of first and second pressure measuring instruments 12, 20 are respectively compared to perform the friction loss test of the piping 4. At this time, the removal of invaded substances such as dust or pebble in the piping can be performed simultaneously and the generation of rust can be prevented. |
