A breast prosthesis comprises a body, shaped to resemble the natural breast, of a cross-linked silicone rubber composition surrounded by a sheath of two polyurethane films, one of which carries a heat-sealable coating by which the two films are mutually connected at their edges. Connection of the two films by melting of the heat-sealable coating and cross-linking of the silicone rubber composition are simultaneously effected by supply of heat. |
