In a hinged container, for facilitating both the collapsing and the erecting of the container, following a proposal according to the invention the walls (2, 3, 4, 5) are connected to the bottom (1) and the top part (6) of the container in an articulated manner, the walls (2, 3) are divided into at least two parts in the transverse direction and the two parts of each wall (2, 3) are connected to one another and to the bottom (1) and the top part (6) in an articulated manner in such a way that either two opposite walls (2, 3) can be bent inwards and the two remaining walls (4, 5) can be bent outwards or all the walls (2, 3, 4, 5) can be bent outwards (Figure 1). Following another proposal according to the invention, two opposite walls (2, 3) are connected to the bottom (1) and the top part (6) of the container in an articulated manner, the two walls (2, 3) are divided into at least two parts in the transverse direction, and the associated parts are connected to one another and to the bottom (1) and the top part (6) in an articulated manner in such a way that they can be bent inwards, and the two remaining walls (4, 5) are linked to the bottom (1) of the container in such a way that they can be folded against the bottom (1) (Figure 5). <IMAGE>
