PURPOSE:To indicate the stop of the operation of a central processing unit clearly, by providing a device, which generates a specified output signal in an analog output unit, and inputting the output of a generating device to an analog recorder. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in the operation of a central processing unit 3, a memory 41 is not rewritten and a counter 44 is not reset. Then, the memory 41 is cleared to zero by a carrier output COT of the counter 44 after 10sec. Therefore, the output digital value of the memory 41 becomes zero and the analog value becomes also zero. When a scale indicates the fault when the analog voltage value is zero as the scale of the analog recorder, a recorder is quickly moved to the end part on recording paper after a specified time. By indicating the occurrence of the fault of the central processing unit 3 by the locus of the analog recorder 5, warning is issued to the maintenance personnel.
